Safety features that offer added confidence
FORWARD COLLISION ALERT
This available advanced feature continually monitors how close your vehicle is to the vehicle in front of you. If the system determines that a front-end collision with a detected vehicle could occur, it alerts you of a potential crash.
FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING
If a collision with a pedestrian directly ahead is imminent and the driver has not already applied the brakes, this available system alerts the driver and can automatically apply the brakes to help reduce the collision’s severity or possibly avoid it altogether.
LOW SPEED FORWARD AUTOMATIC BRAKING
When Traverse is traveling below 50 mph and the system senses that a front-end collision with a detected vehicle is imminent, this available feature automatically applies the brakes to potentially help reduce the severity of impact. It may even help avoid a collision altogether at very low speeds.
LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
If you unintentionally drift from your lane without using your turn signal, available Lane Keep Assist can provide alerts and gentle steering wheel turns to help you get your vehicle back in place if you don’t take action. It can also provide lane departure alerts when detected lane markings are crossed.
FORWARD AUTOMATIC BRAKING
If the system detects that a front-end collision situation is imminent, and the driver has not already applied the brakes, this available system automatically applies the brakes to potentially help reduce the collision’s severity.
REAR VISION CAMERA
As you shift into Reverse, the standard rear vision camera automatically displays a live image of the area behind your vehicle on the Chevrolet Infotainment
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
When in Reverse, this available technology utilizes radar sensors to monitor approaching cross-traffic passing behind the vehicle and alerts you through the standard rear vision camera screen.
LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT
This available technology provides side mirror alerts to warn you when other vehicles are detected your blind zones or rapidly approaching them, potentially helping you avoid a collision when you’re performing a lane change maneuver.
REAR PARK ASSIST
Using ultrasonic sensors, available Rear Park Assist senses stationary objects when in Reverse and warns you if an object is too close.
REAR CAMERA MIRROR
This available technology allows the rearview mirror surface to double as a video screen, providing the driver with a wider, less obstructed field of view behind the vehicle.
SURROUND VISION
When you’re parking or traveling at low speeds, this available technology uses strategically placed cameras to create a virtual bird’s-eye view of the vehicle. The system is made up of four cameras – the standard rear vision camera, a forward-looking camera in the front grille and one under each side mirror of the vehicle.

REAR SEAT REMINDER
Rear Seat Reminder† can help jog your memory when you need it. The feature activates when a second-row door is opened and closed just before you drive. Once you’ve completed your trip, it reminds you (under certain conditions) to check the back seats using chimes and a message in the Driver Information Center.
